The International School of Africa (ISA) is a PK-Grade 11 International School located on the Horn of Africa in the beautiful country of Djibouti.
ISA’s teaching and learning structure is based on the American, California Common Core State Curriculum Standards (CCCS). The CCCS denote specific measures that outline “what 21st century learners should know and be able to do.” The focused standards are cross-curricular and build upon improving literacy and academic rigor. ISA’s has an array of multi-cultural staff who represent over 14 different nationalities. Our intent is ensure that our students matriculate from ISA as global citizens with diverse intercultural experiences that will prepare then to be College and Career Ready. All core classes are delivered in English. French and Arabic are World Languages that are both embedded into our curriculum to further provide our learners with additional language experiences. ISA - Admissions admission overview
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. The school must be a good fit for your child and your family. We are excited that you are considering ISA for your child’s education. The goal of the admissions process is to provide an orderly transition into the right placement level at ISA.

Admission Policy
ISA invites you to call our school admission's office to set up a time to visit the school or to receive additional information. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year. No official decision on an application is given until all the relevant documents have been received (except in exceptional circumstances. Families seeking admission for their child(ren) are advised to apply as early as possible as certain classes fill up quickly. All are encouraged to visit the school’s website to learn more about the Primary or Secondary divisions, and to download all admission materials.
