ISA Families were invited to campus for a day of Family Fun to celebrate before going on Winter Break in December. The celebration included games, face painting, music and food. Families and staff participated a time of fun and games together, taking some time to enjoy some activities together.
As part of their Fine Arts unit, students in Grades One through Four presented class dramas focused on the theme, “Folktales Around the World.”
After a series of 2 matches, ISA Parents and Teachers met for a third and final match in April. Leading up to the final match, both parents and staff had won 1 game. Parents emerged victorious and received the first annual trophy.
Mr. Julian hosted ISA’s first Science Quiz Bowl for students in Grades Six and Seven. Teams of five students competed in 5 rounds of science-related questions from a wide range of topics.
Kindergarten students at ISA honored their mothers by inviting them to school for a small meal prepared by the students. Mothers were also entertained with songs by students in KG1, KG2 and KG3, followed by the presentation of a rose to each mother.
