A Message from the School Principal

noha sabaI would like to extend a very warm welcome to the community of the International School of Africa (ISA) Djibouti. ISA is an international K-12 school offering quality education tailored to the culture and community of Djibouti.

In the words of the Dalai Lama, “When educating the minds of our youth, we must not forget to educate their hearts”. At ISA we strive to foster the development of the emotional, social, intellectual, cognitive and physical needs of every child. We believe that every child is entitled to a quality education, with equal access to knowledge, skills, opportunities and inspiration. We are committed to providing the American Curriculum and three language programs (English, French and Arabic) that are flexible, challenging and adaptable to each learner’s needs. Through differentiated instruction, the integration of technology and character education, children will develop into responsible citizens, respectful individuals and 21st century learners.

Our very competent team of multinational teachers and administrators will strive to create appropriate, meaningful and participative learning situations through proper planning and assessment of our young learners.

We will work in collaboration with parents for we believe that parents are partners in the learning process and play a major part in their children’s education. Thus, all parents will be given the opportunity to be involved in different activities that will take place at the school throughout the year.

It is a privilege and an honor to be part of educating Djiboutian youth; I look forward to welcoming you on campus on the first day of school!

Sincerely,

Noha Saba

Principal
